  • The goal of the project was to develop and optimize, inexpensive, solution-processed transparent thin film transistors, using zinc tin oxide (ZTO), for the backplane circuitry to drive LEDs.
  • Various material compositions for ZTO and transistor geometries were tested to optimize transistor parameters like on-off ratio, subthreshold swing, threshold voltage etc.
  • Driving an organic LED on and off using the fabricated thin film transistors
